Sergio A. Martinez

Sergio A. Martinez has a long and varied work experience in the technology industry. In 2004, they started as a Software Developer at TJS Web Services. In 2005, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Autonomy Systems Ltd and was later transferred and relocated to the US on IPO. Sergio A. was also a Senior Software Architect at RhythmOne/Blinkx (Autonomy Spin-off) from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they Co-Founded Defcon Games S.L., a Software Development Agency specialized in mobile applications design. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Software Architect at Intel Corporation, contributing to upstream projects. In 2017, they Co-Founded Earth Rover, an open source, autonomous field robot adapted from the ExoMars rover hardware. That same year, they also became the CTO of FlickTek, where they worked on the company's proprietary technology. From 2018 to 2019, they were the CTO of TRIDITIVE, a Techstars backed, disruptive start up. In 2020, they became the Podcaster of "La Vieja Guardia Podcast", a Biweekly Technology Podcast in Spanish. Sergio A. currently serves as the Company Owner of Engineer Blue.

Sergio A. Martinez attended the University of Lincoln from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor (Hons) Degree in Computing and Information Systems with a focus on Computing & AI.
