John Salter

John Salter has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. John began their career as a Data Warehouse/DBA Intern at VSP Vision Care in 2012, where they worked on updating and improving databases and assisting with policy updates. In 2014, they joined Tata Consultancy Services as a Software Engineering Consultant, serving as the main point of contact for a Salesforce SRM application. John handled production issues and developed new features for the application, supporting hundreds of internal users nationwide. In 2015, they joined Trigger - The Mixed Reality Agency® as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of mixed reality solutions. John later transitioned to the role of Engineering Manager in April 2020, overseeing engineering operations and team management. Additionally, from 2011 to 2014, John worked as part of the Stevenson Work/Tech Crew at UC Santa Cruz, gaining experience in event setup and audio/video equipment preparation.

John Salter attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Game Design.
