Eleanor Mandelstam

Eleanor Mandelstam (Segall) is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education, digital communications, and writing. Currently serving as a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant at EAYC Nursery since October 2024, Eleanor supports children with special educational needs using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. As a self-published author, Eleanor's memoir "Bring me to Light: Embracing my bipolar and social anxiety" has garnered recognition as a Top 10 book by Bipolar UK and is available globally. Founding the award-winning blog Be Ur Own Light, Eleanor shares insights on mental health, while also contributing as a freelance journalist for Metro.co.uk. Previous roles include digital communications positions at various charities, where Eleanor managed social media strategies and content creation to enhance brand messaging and promote fundraising efforts. Educationally, Eleanor holds an MA in Applied Theatre from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a BA in Drama and English Literature from Goldsmiths, University of London.
