Kari Ward, PMP has over 20 years of work experience in the environmental and project management field. Kari started their career as an Environmental Scientist at Stantec in 2001 and worked there for three years. Following that, Kari joined Locus Technologies as an Environmental Scientist for a year. In 2006, they joined Trihydro Corporation as a Project Manager, where they managed groundwater remediation projects and later transitioned to work in the database group for external clients. Throughout their time at Trihydro, Kari held various roles including Lead IT Project Professional, Sales Manager, Account Manager, and currently serves as the Sales Director. Kari has been involved in managing multiple projects for the Oil and Gas industry, state government agencies, and learning programs. Kari is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is capable of efficiently managing projects in a variety of industries.
Kari Ward, PMP has a diverse education history. Kari started their academic journey at Wichita State University in 1996, where they pursued a degree in Vocal Performance. However, they transferred to The University of Kansas in 1997 and completed their undergraduate education there. From 1997 to 2001, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Environmental Compliance. Additionally, they earned a degree in Environmental Studies during the same period, demonstrating their commitment to a multidisciplinary approach.
Furthermore, Kari Ward has further enhanced their professional qualifications by obtaining the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2013. This certification undoubtedly contributes to their proficiency in project management.
