Alexander Murphy currently serves as the Research Impact Officer at Trilateral Research, focusing on dissemination and communication within the Law Enforcement and Community Safeguarding cluster, while also engaging in Horizon projects that explore ethical dimensions of law enforcement AI. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at the University of Leicester, holding various roles such as Research Assistant, Teaching Fellow, and Research Administrator, where contributions included designing and delivering workshops, podcast series on hate crime, managing digital learning environments, and facilitating interdisciplinary research. Alexander holds a PhD in Criminology, an MSc in Applied Criminology, and a BA in Criminology, all from the University of Leicester. Recognized for excellence in supervision and teaching, Alexander has also contributed extensively to research on hate crime and forensic science throughout a diverse academic and administrative career.
