Vertume DuFault

Vertume is responsible for TRILLION’s finance, human resources, recruiting, and contract activities. Under his direction, the company has implemented strong controls and new systems to manage its more than ten-fold growth of the company since 2018. Prior to joining TRILLION, Vertume held executive leadership positions at Oracle and Marklogic Corp. During the dot com boom, he co-founded a VC-backed interactive TV company. Earlier in his career, he worked at a startup in Annapolis MD as a software developer and then moved to Switzerland to open the company’s European sales and technical services office. Vertume holds a BS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and an MBA from VT’s Pamplin College of Business. He lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife and daughter and is an avid reader of history and science.
