Phil Shin

Phil Shin has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving in multiple leadership roles at North York General Hospital, including Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee and Chief Medical Information Officer, along with positions as Physician, Medical Director of Critical Care, and Chief of Medicine. Additionally, Phil Shin holds an Assistant Professor role in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto and works as a Hospital Donation Physician with the Trillium Gift of Life Network. Phil Shin also serves as a Board Governor for the North York General Foundation and previously worked as a Medical Consultant for Deloitte. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Bioethics/Medical Ethics, multiple fellowships in Critical Care and Internal Medicine, a Certificate in Patient Safety and Quality Improvement, and an MD from the University of Toronto, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University.
