James Whitelaw

James Whitelaw is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in executive leadership, having served as Executive Director at ADAPT Housing since January 2018, and as Founder and Chairman of Trilogy Care since March 2020. James established Affordable Management Corporation in 2008, providing support for participation in the National Rental Affordability Scheme. As a Director/Partner at HMW Group since July 1991, James contributes to a boutique firm specializing in financial planning and compliance for clients. Previously, James held a Director position at Jacaranda Advisory from 2002 to 2015, offering strategic advice in hospitality and tourism, and began a career at Deloitte from 1987 to 1991, focusing on corporate advisory services. Educationally, James is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with degrees from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and The University of Queensland.
