Joe Cassin

Joe Cassin is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in physical security and policing. Currently serving as a Senior Physical Security Supervisor at Trinasolar since October 2024, Joe has held various roles at the Gregg County Sheriff's Office from January 2011 to the present, including Deputy Sheriff and Regional SWAT Team Operator. Prior to this, Joe was the Director at East Texas Police Academy from April 2014 to October 2024, overseeing training for over 230 law enforcement agencies. Additionally, Joe has contributed to academia as an Associate Professor at Kilgore College, teaching criminal justice courses since September 2013. Joe's earlier experience includes serving as a Police Officer in both the Tyler and San Mateo Police Departments. Joe Cassin holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Virginia Military Institute.
