Greg Newton

Manager, Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives at Trinchero Family Estates

Greg Newton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Greg started their career as a Firefighter/EMT with CAL FIRE in 2001 and later transitioned to San Luis Obispo County Fire. In 2005, they joined Mendocino Forest Products as an Industrial Engineer. After that, they worked as an Operations Manager at Sonoma Orthopedic Products until 2010. Greg then joined Wente Family Estates, where they served as a Sr. Materials Manager for three years. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Terlato Wine Group, holding the position of Director of Supply Chain and Contract Services. Currently, they are working at Trinchero Family Estates as the Manager of Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives since September 2020, previously serving as the Procurement Manager for their Indirect Department from 2018 to 2020.

Greg Newton's education history is as follows:

From 1996 to 2000, Greg attended Marquette University H.S. in Milwaukee, WI.

From 2000 to 2005, they studied Industrial Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, receiving a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.

In 2002, Greg pursued Technical Fire Technology, earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Fire Technology. Greg completed this program in 2008.

From 2006 to 2009, they enrolled at ASQ - Lean Six Sigma and obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Greg attended the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) with an unspecified start year and completed their studies in 2020. Greg focused on Leading Across the Organization.

In 2012, they participated in the Management Action Program (MAP) offered by MAP Vital Factors Solutions.

Currently, Greg is pursuing the Wine Executive Program at the University of California, Davis. Greg started this program in 2021, and it is ongoing.
