Fabian Frieß

Fabian Frieß has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Fabian is currently working at trinckle as a Project Manager since February 2023.

From October 2020 to February 2023, Fabian worked at AiF Projekt GmbH as a Reviewer and Consultant.

Prior to that, they were a Project Manager and Materials Specialist at Fraunhofer-Institut für Angewandte Polymerforschung IAP from February 2018 to September 2020.

Between October 2010 and July 2016, they worked as a (Postdoctoral) Research Fellow at Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon, specifically in the Institute of Biomaterial Science, Dept. Pharm. Technol.

Fabian Frieß has a diverse education history. Fabian began their academic journey in 1999 at Bartlesville High School in Oklahoma, USA, where they completed their general education studies and obtained their university entry qualification (Abitur) in 2000.

Following this, Fabian pursued higher education at Gymnasium Wilhelmsdorf from 2000 to 2003.

In 2004, they enrolled at The Philipp University of Marburg and completed a Diploma (Master's Degree) in an extensive range of fields, including Macromolecular, Physical, Analytical, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry.

Driven by their passion for material sciences, specifically chemistry, Fabian joined the University of Potsdam in 2010. Fabian dedicated four years to their studies and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Dr. rer. nat., in Material Sciences (Chemistry) in 2014.

To further enhance their skillset and professional development, Fabian undertook additional training in 2017. Fabian attended the Certified Six-Sigma Institute and pursued a Six-Sigma (Green Belt) certification to gain expertise in the field.

Fabian also expanded their academic experience beyond Germany during their time at The Philipp University of Marburg. In 2008-2009, they participated in an Erasmus and Research Internship program at Université de Rennes I, specializing in Metallorganic Coordination Chemistry.
