Madan Kumar Thangavel

Madan Kumar Thangavel is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing and directing teams across various organizations. Currently serving as Divisional Vice President of Engineering at TriNet since February 2022, Madan previously held significant roles at Zenefits from June 2016 to February 2022, including VP of Engineering and Senior Director of Cloud Infrastructure. There, Madan played a key role during the acquisition process by enhancing the engineering team's visibility and effectiveness. Prior to Zenefits, Madan was an Associate Director at Arcesium and D. E. Shaw India Software Private Limited, leading infrastructure and engineering teams to meet cloud-based application development needs and improve system performance. Madan holds a Master of Computer Applications from PSG College of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology from Kongu Engineering College.
