Taras Lytovchenko

Taras Lytovchenko has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Taras is currently serving as the Head of Legal at Trinetix since August 2023. Prior to that, Taras worked at N-iX as a Senior Compliance Manager from July 2022 to August 2023. In this role, they were responsible for advising on data protection regulations, drafting policies and procedures, negotiating agreements, conducting compliance assessments, and supporting privacy and infosec audits.

Before joining N-iX, Taras served as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at a blockchain entertainment company from July 2021 to September 2022. In this position, they provided legal advice on various matters, including corporate, labor, IP, marketing, and consumer protection, as well as cryptocurrency regulations. Taras also acted as the AML Compliance Officer, creating and implementing global AML compliance programs and supporting compliance audits.

Prior to their role in the blockchain entertainment company, Taras worked at GOLAW from April 2013 to July 2021, starting as a Legal Assistant and progressing to roles including Junior Associate, Associate, Senior Associate, and finally Counsel.

Taras Lytovchenko obtained a Master's Degree in Law from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2014. Taras further pursued additional certifications in various fields, including becoming an Internal auditor on Information Security Management Systems from the Bureau Veritas Group in May 2023. In June 2022, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Additionally, in May 2022, they obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) certification from ACAMS. In 2021, they acquired the Risk Management for Projects certification from the University of Adelaide. Prior to that, in October 2020, they completed the HarvardX: Contract Law: From Trust to Promise to Contract course offered by edX and the Regulatory Compliance Specialization course from Coursera. Taras also obtained the Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from LinkedIn in September 2020 and completed the GDPR Compliance: Essential Training course on LinkedIn in June 2020.
