Gary Keating

Gary Keating has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology industry. Gary currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Trinity Biotech since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Hibergene Diagnostics from 2014 to 2022. Gary also worked as an R&D Manager at DiaSorin Ireland (formerly Biotrin) from 2006 to 2014 and as a Transfer Manager at Abbott Diagnostics from 2000 to 2006. Gary began their career in the industry with a student placement at Randox in 1991.

Gary Keating obtained their BSc in Applied Biochemical Sciences from Ulster University between 1989 and 1993. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Dublin City University from 1993 to 1998, specializing in the field of Immunoassay and biosensors.
