Sophia Tsai

Sophia Tsai is an experienced investment professional currently serving as the Investment Committee Chair at The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation since February 2023 and as Managing Director, Investments at Trinity Church Wall Street since October 2017, managing a $7B portfolio that supports strategic initiatives. As a co-founder and steering committee member of the Institutional Allocators for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (IADEI), Sophia Tsai promotes diversity within institutional investment teams. Additionally, Tsai has been a steering committee member of the Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN) since 2011. Prior roles include Managing Director and Co-Head of Hedge Funds at State Street, and Co-Chief Investment Officer and Senior Managing Director at GE Asset Management, with earlier positions at GE Equity Asia Pacific and GE Capital. Tsai holds an MBA from both Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and HKUST Business School, as well as a BBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
