Grace Leyrer

Grace Leyrer is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School French Teacher at Trinity Episcopal School in New Orleans since July 2021. Previously, Grace worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where responsibilities included managing research classes and coordinating extensive fieldwork. Additionally, Grace has international teaching experience as an English Teaching Assistant in France, focusing on English grammar and American culture, and has contributed to educational resources as a Research Help Desk Assistant at Howard-Tilton Memorial Library. Grace also held roles in marketing and event programming with Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orléans and as a Conference Coordinator at Tulane University Housing & Residence Life. Academically, Grace holds a Master’s degree in History from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and dual Bachelor's degrees in History and French from Tulane University, along with ongoing studies in History and Modern Literature at Université Lumière Lyon 2.
