Jonathan Saunders

Jonathan Saunders is an experienced educator and finance professional currently serving as a Casual Teacher and Intern in Teaching and Economics at Trinity Grammar School, focusing on International Baccalaureate and HSC curriculum. Prior to this role, Jonathan held various senior positions at Westpac from 2011 to 2024, including Director of Strategy and Service Excellence and National Strategy, Risk and Operations Manager for Property Finance. Jonathan also gained strategic experience as Head of Strategy and Operations at Illawarra Credit Union and worked as a Finance Intern at TransGrid and St George Bank early in a career marked by a blend of financial analysis and strategic oversight. Jonathan is pursuing a Masters of Education (Secondary) at the University of New England and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a submajor in Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney.
