Philip Parnell

Philip Parnell serves as the Vice President for Student Services and Athletics at Trinity Valley Community College since December 2020, overseeing various areas including Enrollment Services, Residential Housing, and Student Life. Previously, Parnell held similar positions at Western Wyoming Community College and North Dakota State College of Science, where leadership in student services and athletics was emphasized. At the University of North Dakota, Parnell focused on online enrollment management and community college relations. Prior roles include State Director of Articulation and Transfer for the North Dakota University System and Assistant/Associate Registrar at the University of North Dakota. Parnell's experience is complemented by military service as a Flight Commander in the United States Air Force and earlier teaching roles in Hughes Public Schools. Parnell holds a PhD and MS in Educational Leadership from the University of North Dakota and a BSEd in English/Education from Henderson State University.
