Peter Janoska

Peter Janoska is a seasoned professional in the fields of energy and climate change, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Trinomics since March 2021. Previously, Peter held positions at the International Energy Agency (IEA) from August 2015 to March 2021, contributing as a Senior Environment and Climate Change Analyst and Energy Analyst, where analytical work focused on clean energy transitions and low-carbon energy policies. As a Senior Economist at the National Treasury of South Africa from August 2012 to July 2015, Peter designed policies to promote a low carbon economy. Additional consulting roles at Promethium Carbon and DNA Economics involved GHG emissions mitigation and environmental economics. Peter's research experience includes roles at Policy Connect and Stakeholder Forum for a Sustainable Future. Education includes an MSc in European Political Economy and a BA in International Relations from esteemed institutions, along with a BS in Business Management.
