Simon Gelhaus

Simon Gelhaus is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and sales, currently serving as the Head of Defect Inspection & Metrology at TRUMPF Photonic Components GmbH since September 2018. In addition, Simon holds a position in Project Management for International Sales in Laser and System Technology at the same company. Prior experience includes working as a Sales Engineer at TRIOPTICS GmbH since February 2017, and as a Vertriebsingenieur at Gigahertz Optik GmbH in 2016. Simon also completed a Master's thesis at Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe, focusing on the development of a method to determine the tissue ablation rate of vaporization electrodes. Simon earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Microsystems Technology from the University of Stuttgart and a Bachelor of Engineering in Medical Technology from the Technische Hochschule Ulm.
