Cécile Shepherd Corkill

Cécile Shepherd Corkill has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Cécile began their career as an Assistant Financial Controller at Volkswagen France in 2006. In 2008, they joined TOTAL as a Financial Analyst and Financial Accountant. In this role, they gained experience in financial analysis and accounting. In 2011, they moved to TripAdvisor as a Senior Accountant and gradually advanced to become an Accounting Manager. In this position, they were responsible for general accounting, financial reporting, statutory audits, and tax compliance for various subsidiaries across Europe and Singapore. In 2019, Cécile was promoted to Associate Director of Accounting at TripAdvisor. In this role, they supervised the accounting operations of the dining segment in Europe, implemented local statutory compliance, managed treasury functions, and provided support to internal stakeholders. Cécile Shepherd Corkill completed their education with a Master's Degree in Management - Finance & Accounting from emlyon business school, which they pursued from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, they also briefly studied Accounting and Finance - UK Tax and Treasury at the University of Strathclyde. In terms of additional certifications, Cécile obtained the ACCA qualification from ACCA in March 2012, and later achieved the FCCA qualification from the same institution in February 2017.
