John Phelps

John Phelps is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development and unified communications technology. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at TripIt / Concur / SAP since November 2014, John Phelps leads the iOS Development team, focusing on feature development and architectural improvements for the TripIt app. Prior to this role, John Phelps worked as a Mobile Application Developer for a year, developing a group chat application, and held key positions at Cisco, including Software Development Manager for Jabber for Mac and Technical Leader for the next generation of CSF components. With a career that began in 1992, John Phelps has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of software engineering and project management across multiple platforms, complemented by a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
