Torry Hook has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Torry recently joined Tripler Army Medical Center as the Director of the Department of Hospital Education and Training. Prior to that, they worked at Bassett Army Community Hospital as a Nurse Methods Analyst from 2018 to 2022. Torry also attended Baylor University and completed a graduate program in Army-Baylor MHA/MBA from 2016 to 2018. Torry has held multiple roles within the Army, including Medical Legislative Liaison and Congressional Fellow, where they managed the medical portfolio within the Army's Personnel Branch and served as a point of contact for health-related inquiries from Congress and oversight committees. Earlier in their career, Torry worked as a Nurse Case Manager at the Warrior Transition Brigade, where they played a key role in coordinating patient care and facilitating communication between medical teams, patients, and families. Torry began their career as a Registered Nurse in the Army from 2005 to 2008.
Torry Hook completed a Master's degree in MHA/MBA from Baylor University from 2016 to 2018. In 2012 to 2013, Torry earned a Master of Professional Studies in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University. Prior to that, Torry graduated from Norwich University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
