Michael Hughey

Michael Hughey is a Senior Director at TripleTree, focused on new business development, client engagement, and transaction execution. Michael specializes in the Healthcare Services and Technology sectors, with a focus on managed care, care delivery, alternate / multi-site care, payer-provider collaboration, technology-enabled payer services, and pharmacy and pharmacy benefit management.

Prior to joining TripleTree, Michael was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he was an Associate Partner in the firm’s Healthcare Payer and Provider practice. He supported dozens of healthcare companies in addressing their most critical performance issues, with topics spanning strategy, operations, and organization.

Michael earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S. from Texas A&M University.
