Ayelet Ben-Natan has worked in a variety of roles in the field of bioremediation and water purification. Ayelet began their career in 2015 as an R&D Engineer at NanoSpun Technologies, where they were responsible for research and development in the field of water purification and bioremediation. Ayelet also had experience in biological/chemical laboratory routine work, such as water quality analysis, spectrophotometry, sterile work procedures, microorganism cultivation, microscopy, electrospinning, HPLC, and oil extraction processes. In addition, they were responsible for the maintenance of bio-reactors and control rooms. In 2018, they moved to LivinGreen - Hydroponic Solutions as an R&D Manager, where they were responsible for the development and design of hydroponics and soilless culture-systems for urban and limited-resource environments. Ayelet also managed a 3 person staff and led research on various fertilizers and growth supplements and their compatibility for soilless culture. In 2019, they joined TripleW Ltd. as the Head of Fermentation and a Research and Development Associate.
Ayelet Ben-Natan obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Ruppin Academic Center in 2011, majoring in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography. Ayelet then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2014, focusing on Water and Waste Water Qualities and Fish Physiology.
