Diego Crespo

Diego Crespo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Diego is currently working as the Director of Onboard Technology at TripSpark Technologies, where they are responsible for hiring, training, and managing the team, as well as implementing growth strategies. Prior to this, Diego was the CEO of Viafy, where they developed and executed sales strategies, optimized sales processes, and facilitated the acquisition of the company by Constellation Software. Diego also served as the Head of Customer Success and Operations at Viafy, where they focused on optimizing operational processes, customer support, and team management. Diego has also worked at YaEsta.com, where they held the position of Head of Business Development and Customer Experience, and was responsible for establishing a new department, leading a sales and customer service team, and implementing effective processes. Diego also served as the General Coordinator and Commercial Director at YaEsta.com, where they were involved in strategic planning, team training, and the creation of departments and processes. Prior to this, Diego worked at Corporación GPF (Grupo Fybeca) as the Coordinator of New Channels and Business Development, and also held a role in Corporate Social Responsibility. Diego began their career at Fundación Alternativa, where they worked as a Project and Training Officer, involved in the execution of sustainable social projects and attracting international investment. Diego also had a brief internship at Sande Flowers, where they provided administrative support, negotiated with international clients, and assisted with sales.

Diego Crespo earned their Licenciatura degree in Relaciones Internacionales y Ciencias Politicas from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Diego studied at the university from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, Diego also obtained several certifications, including Gestion por Procesos BPM from Corporacion Elite in July 2019, Curso Virtual de atencion al turista con Discapacidad from CONADIS / Ministerio de Turismo / Ministerio de Trabajo in February 2016, and Certificado de Barista Intermedio from Barista Training Center in January 2017.
