Gaurav Venkataraman

Gaurav Venkataraman has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Gaurav is one of the co-founders of Trisk Bio, a company they joined in October 2020. Prior to that, Gaurav worked as a Scientist at the University of Cambridge from February 2019 to September 2020, where their research focused on RNA biology, statistical physics, and neuroscience. This role was funded by Tyler Cowen through Emergent Ventures. Before their time at Cambridge, Gaurav was a PhD student at UCL, where they worked from an unspecified start date in 2014 until February 2020. Gaurav gained experience in neuroscience research as a Research Assistant at Stanford University in 2013. Gaurav's early work experience includes being an Institutional Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 2011 to 2013.

Gaurav Venkataraman completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at Reed College from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience at UCL (University College London) from 2014 to 2020.
