Jack Liu

Jack Liu serves as the COO at Tristar AI since March 2023, where the focus is on providing factories with insights into critical manual tasks through smart camera technology. Prior to this role, Jack worked as a Technical Lead at General Motors from August 2016 to March 2023, specializing in computer vision for manufacturing, machine learning for logistics forecasting, and data engineering for financial applications. Jack's early experience includes research in heavy oil extraction at The University of Texas at Austin as an Undergraduate Researcher from September 2012 to June 2016 and internship as a Maintenance Engineer at Tenaris. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computing Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 2011 and 2016.
