Yaima Bety Suárez Gijón has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance and engineering. Yaima Bety started their career in 2007 as a QA Engineer and Software Project Analyst at Centro Nacional de Calidad de Software (CALISOFT), where they were responsible for ensuring software quality in complex products and leading a testing team. Yaima Bety also worked as a consultant of standards and software quality models during their time there.

In 2015, Yaima worked as a QA Engineer and Process Consultant at Magmasoft Innovando Tecnología, where they were involved in test management, test case design and execution, and product presentations to customers.

After that, they worked as a Freelancer at GESTOR, specializing in quality assurance and process engineering for systems in the investment banking sector. Yaima Bety'sresponsibilities included defining test plans, executing tests, optimizing the testing process, and test management.

In 2017, Yaima joined iQor as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they performed routine inspections and ensured quality levels at various stages of production.

In 2018, they worked at Beacon Health Options as a QA Integration Test Engineer, where they performed web automation scripting using Selenium WebDriver and created automated schedule jobs for continuous integration using Jenkins.

Most recently, Yaima joined Tritan Software Corporation in 2019 as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Yaima Bety'sresponsibilities in this role include creating and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and reports during each development sprint, performing various types of testing (smoke, regression, functional, usability, performance, etc.), and documenting and reporting test execution and defects/bug reports using Jira.

Yaima Bety Suárez Gijón obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Engineering from the University of Informatics Sciences between 2002 and 2007. Yaima Bety later pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Technology at the University Carlos III of Madrid from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as ISO 9001:2008 from the Registro Cubano de Buques in 2008 and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in March 2015.
