David Mintz has extensive work experience in the field of medical robotics and product development. David currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Product Development at Triton Medical Robotics, a division of Neptune Medical. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President of Product Development, Robotics at Neptune Medical. David also served as an Advisor at Proprio. Mr. Mintz has previous experience as a BattleBot Builder at Seems Reasonable LLC and as the VP of Research & Development at Auris Health, Inc. David held the position of VP Research & Development, Surgical Robotics at Johnson & Johnson from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they worked as the Senior Director of Research & Development at Topcon Medical Laser Systems and as the Director of Product Development at Optimedica. David also worked as the Director of Systems Engineering at AirXpanders and as the Director of Software and Electrical Engineering at NeoGuide Systems.
David Mintz earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their engineering education, David Mintz also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo. Prior to college, they attended Midwood High School.
