Sidney Rouwenhorst

Sidney Rouwenhorst has extensive work experience in the field of tax and finance. They currently serve as the Global Director Indirect Tax & Customs at Trivium Packaging, a position they started in March 2022. Prior to joining Trivium Packaging, Sidney worked at EY for a significant period of time, holding various roles such as Associate Partner, Director of Indirect Tax for the Asia Pacific Tax Center, and Senior Manager of Indirect Tax for the same center. Before joining EY, Sidney worked as a Senior Consultant in Indirect Tax. Additionally, they had a brief role as an Interim EMEA VAT specialist at SABIC. Sidney's early career includes positions as a Financial Employee at HES Post-Graduate Programmes and the Walraven Group.

Sidney Rouwenhorst completed a degree in Management, Economics, and Law at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2005. Later, from 2005 to 2010, Sidney pursued a degree in Law from the University of Amsterdam. Finally, from 2011 to 2013, Sidney obtained a specialization in Indirect tax for specialists from The Dutch Association of Tax Advisers.
