Marketing and Proposal Manager at Trofholz Technologies

Alison Smith has a strong background in marketing and proposal management. Alison began their career in 2003 as a Marketing and Sales Specialist at Acu-Trol, Inc. (now Pentair Acu-Trol). In this role, they composed and distributed marketing, sales, and other types of communications to distribution channels, customers, and prospective customers. Alison also designed advertisements, literature, and press releases and managed and evaluated the ACT CRM database. In 2005, they became the Marketing Manager at Pentair Acu-Trol, where they managed vendor relationships, advertising schedules, and the web site for multiple product lines. Alison was also published in Aquatics Magazine in September 2005. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Sales Support Analyst at CPS Human Resource Services, where they helped create processes to manage incoming RFPs, client inquiries, and facilitate the proposal development process. From 2009 to 2022, they worked at Trofholz Technologies, Inc. as a Marketing and Proposal Manager, Proposal Manager, and Proposal Coordinator. In these roles, they managed and supported the proposal process, developed tools, checklists, and templates, and coordinated proposal responses from 5 core business divisions. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Proposal Manager at GSI Service Group, Inc.

Alison Smith received their MBA from California State University, Fresno in 2003, majoring in Business Administration. Alison completed their BA from the University of California, Davis in 2001, majoring in American Studies. Alison also obtained their APMP Certified Foundation from APMP in March 2011.
