Ian MacKenzie

Ian MacKenzie is the current CEO at Trojan Energy. Prior to this, they were with Maersk Oil as their Engineering Lead from August 2008 to July 2018. In this role, Ian led an engineering team responsible for optimising and defining workscopes to ensure that the asset returns to operation with the risks reduced to acceptable levels. Before Maersk Oil, Ian worked for Saipem from January 2006 to August 2008 as their Lead Subsea Engineer. During their time there they worked on the Taurt Project in Egypt for BP Gupco, the Tweedsmuir Project in the UK for Talisman, and the Buzzard Project in the UK for Nexen.

Ian MacKenzie has a Master of Science in Management from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same school.
