Daniel Fox

Daniel Fox has over 25 years of work experience in the agricultural sector. Daniel is currently the VP of Product Development at Tropic Biosciences, where they lead a team focused on utilizing gene editing to improve crop productivity in the Tropics. Prior to this, they worked at Syngenta Seeds for over a decade, holding positions such as Head of R&D Vegetable Seeds and Head of R&D L&G. In these roles, they developed and implemented strategies for innovation, managed large teams and budgets, and drove collaboration with customers. Before joining Syngenta, Daniel was with Syngenta Crop Protection, where they served as the Head of R&D integration for Syngenta Flowers. Daniel started their career as a Post Doctoral Scientist at the University of Reading, where they conducted research on gene engineering and protein structure. Overall, Daniel's work experience highlights their expertise in agricultural research, innovation, and leadership.

Daniel Fox attended the University of Portsmouth from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a degree in Biology. Their field of study was Biology, specifically Marine Biology.
