Nathan Verni

Nathan Verni has a strong background in engineering and technology leadership. Nathan is currently the CTO at Tropic, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Nathan served as the VP of Engineering at Tropic from August 2021 to January 2023. Nathan was responsible for overseeing the engineering department and leading the development team. Before joining Tropic, Nathan worked at Chargify, where they held various positions over a span of 11 years. Nathan started as a Developer in February 2010 and later became the Director of Development in February 2014. In this role, they played a vital role in building the engineering organization and mentoring and growing the development team. Additionally, Nathan was the VP of Engineering at Chargify from December 2018 to August 2021. Prior to their time at Chargify, Nathan worked at Blenderbox, Inc. as a Senior Developer and Tech Lead from June 2005 to February 2010. Nathan was responsible for building award-winning websites using Ruby on Rails and played a key role in hiring and growing the team. Nathan began their career at Paychex as a Developer in 2004.

Nathan Verni completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management and Technology at Syracuse University School of Information Studies from 2000 to 2004.
