Darnell Barrett

Darnell Barrett is an experienced professional in operations management, currently serving as the Regional Operations Manager at Tropical Shipping since December 2021. Prior to this role, Darnell held various positions at the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago from June 2000 to December 2021, including Port Superintendent, Logistics Manager, and Divisional Manager of Operations. Darnell began the career as a Junior Clerical Officer. Darnell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nautical Science and Maritime Operations from The University of Trinidad and Tobago, where education was completed from September 2010 to June 2014.
