Jeffrey Wright

Jeff Wright is a dedicated conservation professional with extensive experience in project management and community engagement. Currently serving as the Southern Appalachians Project Manager at Trout Unlimited since November 2018, Jeff Wright focuses on increasing capacity for coldwater conservation through various initiatives, including project implementation, fundraising, and community involvement. Prior roles include Southeast Project Coordinator and Southeast Volunteer Coordinator. Jeff Wright's academic background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Truman State University. Alongside a solid foundation in biology, Jeff Wright has contributed significantly to major conservation projects, successfully completing five in the past two years. Previous experience includes positions as a Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Coordinator at East Tennessee State University and King University, respectively.
