Alexandre Colzi Lopes

Alexandre Colzi Lopes is a seasoned expert in biotechnology and environmental technology, currently serving as the CTO and co-founder of Trovant Technology since October 2018. In this role, Alexandre is responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of the NIDUP technology for biogas upgrading, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Previous positions include postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Energy, where Alexandre focused on organic waste valorization and biogas upgrading technologies, and innovation engineer at Urbaser, managing biological processes for multiple projects. Alexandre earned a PhD in Process and Systems Engineering from the Universidad de Valladolid and possesses a master's degree in Hydraulic and Environmental Sanitation from USP, as well as a civil engineering degree from the Federal University of Ceará. Currently, Alexandre is enhancing business acumen through thePower MBA program.
