Khalil Charles

Khalil Charles is an experienced media professional currently serving as Deputy News Editor at TRT World since June 2017, based in Istanbul. Khalil is also the Founder of Muslim Eye, a position held since October 2016. Prior experience includes writing for Middle East Monitor from February to June 2017 and serving as News Editor at Islam Channel from September 2015 to September 2016. Additionally, Khalil held the role of Director of Media and Communications at the Muslim Association of Britain from May 2014 to January 2015 and worked as Assistant Director and Presenter at BBC from February 1986 to April 1991.
