Simon McGregor-Wood

Simon McGregor-Wood is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in international news reporting. Currently serving as the Europe Correspondent and presenter for TRT World since September 2015, McGregor-Wood covers a range of topics including breaking news, politics, and sports across Europe. Prior to this role, McGregor-Wood was a correspondent for Al Jazeera English from April 2011 to September 2015 and served as the Middle East Correspondent and Bureau Chief for ABC News in Jerusalem from 2002 to 2010, focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of The Foreign Press Association in Israel and the Palestinian Territories, and contributing to news coverage at ITN and GMTV. McGregor-Wood has a strong educational background, holding a master's degree in Intelligence and Security from Brunel University London and a journalism degree from the University of Westminster.
