Roop Pal

Roop Pal is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as the Founder of Truce since September 2021, Roop previously worked at Waymo as a Software Engineer, focusing on training and evaluating machine learning models for traffic light recognition. Prior to this role, Roop was a Software Engineer at Google, where innovative 3D Pointcloud Object Classification ML models were developed and integrated. Roop's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bard College at Simon's Rock, complemented by various research and internship experiences at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University, IBM, and KPMG.
