Darrell Redford has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1984, they started their career as a Media Specialist and Network Administrator at IHC Affiliated Services, where they stayed until 1989. From 1989 to 1994, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Matrixx Marketing / Cincinnati Bell, focusing on development in COBOL and HP Speedware. Starting in 1996, they became an R&D Technical Evangelist at iomega, a position they held until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, Redford served as the COO of Direction One Marketing, where they created and managed a wireless network installation in hotels across 17 states. In 2005, they joined Backcountry.com as a Sr. IT Project Manager, a role they left in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Project Manager at CHG Healthcare, Inc., where they established their first-ever PMO. Darrell then joined LDS Church in 2008, initially as a Sr. Technical Program Manager and later moving on to roles such as Solutions Manager and Portfolio Architect, before leaving in 2017. Most recently, Redford is the CEO and Founder of True DNA Story, a direct-to-consumer DNA testing service focused on comprehensive health-related DNA reports.
Darrell Redford has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Information Systems & Technologies from Weber State University. Additionally, from 1984 to 1985, they attended Davis Area Vocational Center where they pursued a degree in Business/IT.
Darrell Redford also holds certifications in the field of project management. In December 2013, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance, as well as the Scrum Master certification from ScrumAlliance.
