Kapil Singhal

Kapil Singhal is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in private credit and credit trading. Currently serving as Managing Partner for True North Co since February 2021, Kapil heads the True North Private Credit division. Prior to this role, Kapil was the India Credit Head and Managing Director at KKR & Co. Inc., overseeing the firm's credit operations in India from October 2019 to January 2021. Kapil has also held significant positions including Co-Head of the Edelweiss Special Opportunities Fund, Head of India Credit Trading at Goldman Sachs, and Director of Global Credit Trading at Deutsche Bank. Early career roles include leadership positions at GE Capital and ICICI Bank, where Kapil focused on corporate finance and wholesale lending. Kapil's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA in Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
