Alec Hammond

Alec Hammond began their professional career in 2016 with UpRising Leadership, where they completed a part-time environmental leadership programme. Following this, they joined Global Action Plan in 2016 as a Programme Assistant and Catalyst Internship Training Programme. In 2017, they worked with the British Red Cross as a Business Intelligence Analyst (Work Shadowing). Later that year, they joined London Union as a Bar Manager. In 2018, Alec worked with the British Red Cross again as a Maths Teacher/Project Coordinator Volunteer, as well as St Mungo's as a Refugee Casework Volunteer. Alec also worked with Babek Brothers as a Kitchen Team. In 2019, they joined Keep Britain Tidy as a Project Manager (Centre for Social Innovation), Recycling Quality Officer and Waste & Recycling Analyst. Alec is currently employed with TrueCircle, where they hold the role of Operations.

Alec Hammond completed their MPhys (Hons) in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Kent in 2015. Prior to that, they attended Barton Peveril Sixth Form College from 2008 to 2010.
