Robin Maillot has worked in a variety of roles in the past six years. In 2015, they worked as an Employé de soutien at the Caro Foresta Rio Hotel, where they completed a one month work placement in Karuizawa. In 2016, they worked as a Visiting Research Scholar at the UC Irvine Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, where they implemented Python detection algorithms for low resource consumption on Raspberry Pi and worked with Haar cascade classifiers in Python for pedestrian detection. In 2018, they completed a Stagiaire position at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Lead Computer Vision Engineer at mojo. They then moved to OpenClassrooms, where they worked as a Mentor from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are a Machine Learning Engineer at TrueCircle, and a Senior Data Scientist at HarvestAi, where they are combining the physical sciences, biology, and data to produce novel insights in indoor farming via the application of artificial intelligence and Big Data/Industry 4.0 technologies in modern farming.
Robin Maillot completed a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Mathematics and Computer Science from ENSTA Paris from 2015 to 2018.
