Jared M.

Jared M. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering. Jared is currently working at TrueML as a Senior Software Engineer since February 2022.

Before that, Jared worked at AccuWeather from July 2016 to January 2022 as a Software Engineer. In this role, they were the lead developer for SmartWarn, an internal application for visualizing weather data worldwide. Jared expanded APIs using Go and PostgreSQL to support SmartWarn features.

Prior to AccuWeather, Jared worked at CRU Data Security Group (CDSG) from April 2014 to July 2016. Jared developed the WriteBlocking Validation Utility, an application for forensic investigators, and collaborated with the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) to ensure compliance. Jared also implemented an online store checkout process for cru-inc.

Jared's first position in software engineering was as a Contract Software Engineer at CDSG from May 2013 to April 2014, where they rewrote existing applications to improve stability and cross-platform portability. Jared also contributed to the development of a custom protocol for Mouse Jiggler and provided bug fixes and troubleshooting support.

In terms of their education, Jared worked as a Precalculus Paper Grader and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Kansas from August 2011 to May 2013.

Furthermore, Jared gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Garmin International from May 2012 to August 2012. Jared developed safety-critical software and created a Windows application for interfacing with radar altimeter devices.
