Tomas Perez

Tomas Perez, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software and analytics across various roles and companies. Currently serving as Software Principal at Truenorth Corporation since March 2013, Tomas has led IBM's analytics software projects, implementing solutions throughout the US and Latin America. Prior to this, Tomas held the title of Software Account Manager at Mainline Information Systems, where major solutions were architected for customers in Puerto Rico. A significant portion of Tomas's career was spent at IBM, where roles ranged from Systems Engineer to Business Unit Executive for Tivoli System Z, overseeing strategies and implementations across North America and Latin America. Early career experience includes positions at Dun & Bradstreet and Citi, complemented by academic achievements including a PhD in History of Technology from Universidad de Puerto Rico and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Political Science Philosophy from Boston University.
