Holden Omans

Holden Omans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. Holden started their career as an Appliance Engineer at Optanix in 2013, where they were responsible for maintaining and implementing the Optanix Platform. Holden then moved up to the role of Level 2 Appliance Engineer, where they mentored Level 1 Appliance Engineers and took on additional responsibilities.

Holden continued to progress in their career at Optanix, eventually becoming an Application Engineer. In this role, they maintained and implemented the Optanix Platform, communicated with customers, resolved issues, and performed team knowledge transfers. Holden later became a Technical Lead for the Operations organization, where they acted as a liaison and key escalation point for partner Cisco. Holden also led innovations in scaling and quality for change controls and polling processes.

Holden's next role at Optanix was as a Technical Lead in the Operation (SAS) organization. In this position, they formed and led a cross-discipline team to develop a DevOps culture and created an automation framework to improve maintenance and implementation processes.

In 2016, Holden transitioned to the role of Professional Services Engineer, leading and architecting solutions for new and existing customers. Holden worked closely with clients to ensure the quality and acceptance criteria of prototypes.

Holden's experience at Optanix continued to grow as they became a Manager of Software Engineering and a Senior DevOps Engineer. As a Manager of Software Engineering, they led innovations in automation, testing, and DevOps practices, and introduced new technologies for automation and development. In their role as a Senior DevOps Engineer, Holden acted as the lead architect and DevOps engineer on a project to update and modernize development and delivery tools for Engineering.

Holden's career then took him to commercetools in 2019, where they served as a DevOps Engineer. Holden was part of a global DevOps team responsible for ensuring the uptime and resiliency of applications and the production environment. Holden'stasks included diagnosing incidents, presenting architecture to potential customers, and configuring and deploying in multi-cloud environments.

In 2019, Holden joined Diamanti as a Solutions Architect. Holden worked on designing and implementing solutions for customers, leveraging their expertise in cloud technologies.

Holden's most recent role is as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Ndustrial, starting in 2021. Holden is responsible for implementing DevOps practices and technologies, ensuring efficient development and delivery processes.

In 2023, Holden will begin working as a Cloud Architect at Truiem, where they will likely leverage their experience and expertise in cloud architecture.
