Andrea S. Brown

Andrea S. Brown, CISA, CISM, currently serves as a Cybersecurity Business Information Security Manager and Information Security Officer at Truist, focusing on Corporate Cyber Security initiatives related to the merger of BB&T and SunTrust. Prior to joining Truist in April 2020, Andrea held the position of Sr. Director of Governance, Security & Compliance and CISO at RTI International, where responsibilities included overseeing data and cyber security and managing a team for IT regulatory compliance. Previous experience includes roles as Director of IT and IT Solutions Program Manager at Genworth Financial, and positions at Liggett Group Inc and GTE. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science - Systems from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
