Darren Frey

Darren Frey is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in asset management, vendor management, and procurement. Currently serving as SVP and IT Asset Management Program Director at Truist since December 2019, Darren previously held multiple roles at BB&T from September 2009 to December 2019, including Manager of IT Vendor Management and IT Business Process Architect, where responsibilities included aligning enterprise content management capabilities with business strategies and overseeing vendor governance for major suppliers like IBM and Tibco. Earlier in their career, Darren worked at IBM from August 2004 to 2009 in supply chain and manufacturing engineering roles. Darren holds an MBA in Business Administration from Marist College and a BS in Engineering & Management from Clarkson University.
